Hi! My name is Elizabeth, and welcome to my blog! I am a vintage lover in the Midwestern United States. I got into vintage because I was frustrated with the way that I dressed, and knew there had to be a better way. Vintage styles have always been so classic to me, and after much consideration, I decided to give it a try! I fell in love almost immediately, and haven’t stopped since. This blog is a documentation of the evolution of my style, as well as my journey in vintage fashion. Here you can find outfit posts, fashion tips, and tales of my thrifting and sewing adventures! I’m also learning to crochet and knit, so I will be posting occasionally about my successes and failures in that department as well.
Some more about me: I’m married to a wonderful man, who is a pastor. We have a dog, named River. She is the cutest, sweetest, fluffiest goofball I have ever seen. My favorite color to look at is green, but my favorite color to wear is navy blue. My favorite decade is the 40’s, concentrating on the war years, but I can see my style shifting towards the 50’s in the summer. I obsess over the intricate details of vintage and enjoy the sheer variety of styles that is out there! In August, I graduated from grad school with my Master of Social Work, but I am one of those people who enjoys pain, and I did a dual degree program. I have nine months left of my internship (at two churches, not the same one my husband is the pastor of), and then I will be fully graduated with my other degree in theology. Phew! I hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little better!
